Walk into the past, through the streets of Midland or Penetanguishene, where community history unfolds in heritage homes, vibrant colours of historical murals and galleries featuring local artists.

Local and provincial museums depict the rich and colourful history of the area reflecting the regions three founding cultures. Historical attractions include a reconstructed 17th century Jesuit mission, a 19th century British military base and Canada's first recontructed pre-European contact aboriginal village.
